Game advice is advice
The strategies and tips throughout this site come from building and playing these games a great deal. They are informed opinions about what tends to work, not rules that will hold in every situation.
Where something is a measurement rather than an opinion - a window length, a recovery time, a damage value - it is read from the game's own source and can be relied on. The fact-checking policy explains how those two categories are kept apart.
No guaranteed results
Following a guide will not guarantee a higher score. Arcade games reward practice, and no amount of reading replaces it.
Claims like 'this is the fastest way to improve' are judgements about what helps most players most of the time, not promises about you specifically.
Technical accuracy
The games are tested on current versions of the major browsers on desktop and mobile. They rely on HTML5 Canvas, local storage and the Web Audio API, all of which are widely supported but may behave differently in older browsers, in private browsing modes, or where storage is restricted.
Where a game runs better on a particular device, its page says so in the game information table rather than claiming everything works equally well everywhere.

No professional advice
Nothing on this site is professional advice of any kind. It is writing about browser games.
