What is currently set
At the time this page was last updated, Robot Arcade sets no cookies at all. What it does use is local storage, which is a different browser mechanism that serves a similar purpose: it keeps a small amount of data on your device, readable only by this site.
That storage holds your best scores, your favourite games, your recently played list, your sound preference and whether you have dismissed the storage notice. Nothing in it identifies you and none of it is sent anywhere.
Essential storage
The only genuinely essential item is the flag recording that you dismissed the storage notice. Without it the notice would reappear on every page.
Everything else is a convenience. If you block storage entirely, the games still work - you simply will not keep a high score between sessions, and the favourites and recently played pages will stay empty.
Preference storage
Sound on or off is remembered so that muting a game mutes the site until you change it back. Favourites and the recently played list are remembered so those two pages have something to show.
Analytics storage
None. No analytics provider is loaded by this site, so nothing is stored for measurement purposes.
Advertising storage
None currently. The site is built to accommodate an advertising network but none is connected, so no advertising cookies are set.
If one is connected in future, advertising networks generally set their own cookies to select adverts, limit how often you see the same one, and measure performance. At that point this page will name the network and describe what it sets, and the consent notice will be updated to reflect it.
Consent
The notice that appears on your first visit explains that the site stores scores and preferences locally. Dismissing it records that you have seen it.
Because nothing currently stored is used for tracking or advertising, the notice is informational rather than a consent gate. If that changes, the notice will change with it rather than quietly continuing to describe a simpler site.
How to remove it
The privacy policy has a button that clears everything this site has stored in your browser, including scores, which cannot be recovered afterwards.
You can also clear it through your browser's settings for site data, or by using a private browsing window, in which nothing persists after you close it.
